Living in a castle
Some of the bedrooms feature Baroque stuccoed ceilings, while others are fitted with carved, wooden Renaissance ceilings. Every room is unique in decor and atmosphere, and combine old-world appeal with modern comfort.
All bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been fully renovated and modernised to contemporary standards.
Due to construction restrictions, we do not have a lift: We strongly recommend taking this into account when packing your suitcases.
Standard Double Room
These spacious bedrooms are decorated in period furnishings, 25 – 30 m2.
Junior Suites
Spacious bedrooms with historic furnishings, comfortable lounge corner with sofa, 35 – 40 m2.
Loft Suite
3rd floor suite with corridor to the lounge area, 52 m2, secluded south-facing terrace.
Rates
Rates are quoted per night’s stay in original, historic rooms and include a lavish breakfast buffet.
Rates per person, based on 2-person occupancy for a stay of two nights:
Rates are quoted per person, inclusive of breakfast and 10% VAT.
A local tax surcharge of € 3,00 per person per night (age 14 upwards) is payable on site.
SHORT STAYS
One stays of 1 night, a surcharge of €10 per person is applied.
SINGLE ROOMS
Single person occupancy of double rooms is subject to a surcharge of €50.
CHILDREN’S RATES
Children are very welcome here. With its wide array of animals and rustic surroundings, Englar Castle is an absolute paradise for all children.
When sleeping in their parents’ room, children up to 3 years old stay free of charge.
ADDITIONAL BEDS
Are only available in the Junior suites:
For children up to 10 years old, we charge €30.
11 - 18 years old: €50
from 18 years old: €80
METHODS OF PAYMENT
We are happy to accept cash payment, and offer a €30 discount in this case. Otherwise, you can, of course, pay by debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard).
CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Things can happen, and sometimes your long-awaited holiday is just not meant to be. We recommend taking out travel insurance (www.reiseversicherung.de).
Please inform us as early as possible in case of cancellation.
Cancellation is free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
Up to 7 days prior to arrival, 50% cancellation fee will be charged and in case of later cancellation prior to arrival, the full booking amount will be due.
Unfortunatly we cannot accomodate dogs and other pets.
